In conjunction with the Rolling Stones’ highly anticipated forthcoming 50th anniversary tour, Symbolic London is proud to present, Rocking the Art World: Celebrating the Rolling Stones at Broome Street Gallery in Soho New York. This new exhibition brings together works by celebrated artists from around the world in homage to one of the most prolific rock n’ roll bands of all time.
A number of artworks depicting the Rolling Stones will be on display at the New York City pop-up gallery, making it one of the most comprehensive private collections of artwork about the band to date. Highlights include Andy Warhol’s 1975 “Mick Jagger”,Russell Young’s iconic “Mick Jagger Red Lips” portrait and a number of works by German portrait artist Sebastian Krüger. The exhibition will also feature new specially commissioned contemporary pieces by Ronnie Wood himself, created exclusively for Symbolic London in celebration of the Rolling Stones 50th anniversary.
